When does the course start and how is it delivered?
The course starts immediately once you enroll. t is a completely self-paced online course - you decide when you start and when you finish. Once enrolled you have 12 months' access to complete the course. Once completed, you will still have access to all modules and lectures until the 12 month period expires.
Who is the course for?
The course is designed for Construction Contractors, Subcontractors, Estimators, Quantity Surveyors, Engineers, Principal Agents, Development Managers (Employers) and Lawyers.
The course is suitable for beginners who have never worked with the JBCC contract and is also suitable for experienced users who may want to fill some knowledge gaps or learn a few additional skills.
Ideal for individuals who want to acquire the skills to interpret, manage and implement the JBCC contract like a pro.
Ideal for companies seeking a cost-effective training solution for either small, focused teams or larger groups spread across various locations.
This course is ideal for you if you value flexibility and a more cost-effective solution. For this course, you can work at your own pace, from anywhere in the world and with autonomy to master the skills required.
Who is the course NOT for?
If you prefer a live, in-person learning environment then this course will not be the best fit for you.
This course is not ideal for companies looking to train more than 15 people at one location on a specific date.

What version of the JBCC is used?
Although we use the latest 6.2 version of the JBCC in the course, the principles, and most of the clauses are directly applicable to other versions such as the 4.1 and 5.0 versions of the JBCC.
What if I have questions?
The disadvantage of on-demand video courses is that you don't have the ability to raise your hand and get immediate feedback. However, you are still able to post any questions directly to the course facilitator on our Teachable platform while doing the course, so you never have to worry about getting stuck. Do I get a copy of the JBCC Principal Agreement?
Because many practitioners have access to a copy of the JBCC and in order to keep the cost of the course as low as possible, we opted to not include a copy of the PBA as part of the course. In the introduction to the course, we do however show you step-by-step how you can obtain your own reference copy directly from the electronic services of the JBCC.
Can I earn a certificate of completion?
Yes absolutely. But you are going to have to complete an assignment to do so. It’s not that hard, but it’s designed to ensure that you got to grips with the course content.
